Committee Chair

Sumayyah Cargilll is currently the Manager of Strategic Development and Initiatives at the Bahamas Development Bank where she is leading The Bank’s reoriented focus on international frameworks for development, inclusive of The 17 Sustainable Development Goals into operations for the Bank.

She is focused on building pathways to a sustainable prosperous future for all Bahamians through finance and investment for bankable projects. She is a big believer in “people power” in partnership with the government to achieve the 2030 agenda.

Committee Vice-Chair

Travis Miller is a web developer, and digital strategy consultant. He works with startups, agencies & entrepreneurs to build strong brands and create meaningful experiences on the web. With over 10 years of experience, Travis has been involved in numerous for-profit and non-profit projects and initiatives, competed in and facilitated business development competitions, and has spoken at events and panels on creative technologies and entrepreneurship.

Jeffrey N. Beckles I is a business consultant and life coach with vast knowledge and experience as a Hospitality Specialist. He has contributed to the development of The Bahamas through his participation and engagement with local and international organizations, government and civil society. He is the current Managing Director at Island Pay Group in The Bahamas.

Ketra Todd is the Emerging Products Manager at Cable Bahamas, a leading telecommunications provider, committed to enabling connected lifestyles and experiences. She leads the planning, development, and delivery of innovative products, including Smart IoT solutions and Ring Smart Security. Ketra is passionate about sustainable development and the exploration of new capabilities for the adoption of smart cities.

Brickell Pinder is currently the Director of Trade and Industry. She is a keen supporter of ‘people- centered and inclusive economic development, and believes that the Sustainable Development Goals provide an opportunity to support development objectives, that may sometime seem contradictory in a cohesive way.

Samantha L. Rolle holds the position of Executive Director at Access Accelerator, Small Business Development Centre (SBDC). As an accomplished professional with more than 15 years of experience, Samantha is known for driving performance, maximizing operational excellence and effective project management.
